You might remember Liv’s session on a boat in Gloucester. Well, that was on Ben’s family’s boat. So when it was Ben’s turn for senior portraits, there was no question that we were going back out on the boat.
We started at the house with his dog, Dylan. Because everyone needs a photo with their dog.
Unlike Liv’s session which had rain-sun-rain-sun, we got a gorgeous night from start to finish.
We cruised through the harbor with no real plan other than to chase the light.
When we hit the open waters, we picked up speed. There is nothing more freeing than flying across the ocean on an open boat.
At Crane Beach, we pulled in, and again, I needed to jump out in thigh-deep water. This year, though, my foot was in a brace, which definitely made me more nervous about losing my gear on a clumsy fall!
The weather and the light were perfect. I sent Ben down to the water and then his dad told him to jump as high as he could from the soft sand.
Salty air. Sunshine. Cool breeze. Fun with friends. Perfect night.
