I’ve been sitting on this blog post for two weeks, because I am struggling with how to find the words to share this jaw-dropping, heart-beating, smile-inducing engagement session that we had in Portsmouth, NH.
Luke and Lauren’s session was a week after his proposal at Gibbet Hill. Weather did not cooperate for us to follow our original plans. Even on the way up to the seacoast, we experienced all kinds of weather– snow, rain, wind. I wasn’t sure how long we would last outside.
And then, Mother Nature helped us out.
We were still freezing, but that sun helped us along!
Lauren laughed as she “thanked” the residents of the historic district for decorating their doors for their session.
We headed to the waterfront, which is a special place for them.
After a quick change in the freezing cold, we decided that cozy sweaters and a blanket were needed for the trek back across town.
Luke and Lauren love coffee shops. We found the perfect spot to let them enjoy some hot drinks, warm up, and laugh about the day.
Engagement sessions are amazing when we go to your favorite places and plan around your interests.
Congratulations, Luke and Lauren! Hope that you are enjoying the excitement of engagement!
