You did your senior portraits with me. Now, as a graduation gift to you, we meet up do a Cap and Gown session.

On your actual graduation night, there is barely any time to do pictures.

You have to be at the high school so much earlier than your parents. And all they have on their mind is getting to the venue to get good seats.

After the ceremony

After graduation, there is so much movement– friends hugging, classmates saying goodbye, teachers introducing themselves to your parents— that it’s hard to get a good photo in your cap and gown. And between the tears and the heat of those gowns, your hair is ruined, makeup is running, and you are a sweaty mess.

So, instead, we do a 20 minute mini session with your cap, gown, diploma, and regalia. These are perfect images to print for your graduation party (if you do the session before graduation) or to include with your thank you notes.

The energy and excitement that grads bring to these sessions is so much fun.
