I needed something new. While I have locations I love, every now and then, I need to try out a new location. I had never considered Harborwalk, and it turned out to be a great location.
It was crowded there, but we made it work! We met in Seaport, right outside of Davio’s, in a location with a perfect view of the skyline, a beautiful brick walkway, modern glass buildings, and a nice park.
I love a location that can give me some variety, and Seaport did not disappoint.
My only concern was the lack of fence or wall along the water. Great for older kids. I would advise not to use this location with children under three who tend to bolt.
I always love when parents give me the freedom to capture their kids in their essence. This mom always wants a few “nice” photos, but especially loves when we can let the girls be their silly, sassy selves.
I love to let kids play during a session. We even took a break and the girls acted out a “Tea Pahhhhhty”. We were in Boston Harbor, after all!
If you’re looking for something different, and have no worries about kids and waterfronts, consider Seaport for a location.
Let me know in the comments your favorite spot in the city for portraits!
